April 2026: Smarter Search, Better Admin Tools
Multilingual search, AI enhancements, drag-and-drop menu management, and a wave of Admin portal improvements to help you work faster.
April brought a focused set of improvements to the Admin portal, AI capabilities, and search — making everyday tasks faster and the platform smarter for your team.
Multilingual Search
- Search in English and Chinese: You can now search for countries and cities in both English and Simplified Chinese, making the platform more accessible for Chinese-speaking teams and users.
- Consistent university data: University records are now centralised, so every organisation sees the same up-to-date information without discrepancies.
AI Enhancements
- Better response quality: The AI layer has been upgraded to the latest Gemini embeddings, improving the relevance of AI-assisted search and recommendations.
- Auto-publish on setup: When a new organisation creates an AI agent, its dataset is automatically published — no manual step needed.
- AI dataset stays in sync: When you unpublish a FAQ or property, it is now automatically removed from the AI dataset, ensuring your AI only surfaces accurate, live content to users.
Promotions
- Indefinite promotions: Promotions with no defined start date are now fully supported, so you can configure open-ended offers without workarounds.
Admin Portal
Floor Plans
- Delete multiple floor plans and features in a single action.
- Reorder floor plans manually via drag and drop.
- Uploading a PDF floor plan now automatically generates and saves a preview image.
Enquiries & Content
- All enquiry subtypes are now selectable regardless of the parent type — no more being blocked by the type dropdown.
- A confirmation dialog now appears before deleting images from the gallery, preventing accidental removals.
- The FAQ text editor now includes the missing link button.
Universities
- University addresses auto-populate when creating or editing records.
- Chinese university names are now displayed throughout Admin, including in connector lists and dropdowns.
- Added review count to the Student Crowd connector list.
Managed Services
- Category, Task Name, and Time To Complete dropdowns now include an “Add New” option inline — no need to navigate away.
- Full support added for managing purchase history, including expiration date logic for service hours.
Menus & Dishes
- Menus, dishes, and menu items can now be reordered via drag and drop, with manual sort order input also available.
Organisations
- Fixed navigation and breadcrumbs in System Settings → Organisations.
- Fixed an issue preventing new organisations from being created correctly.
- Fixed a bug where batch-syncing articles with an organisation was failing.
Connectors & Campaigns
- Campaign tracking now supports Venue and Menu as trackable options.
- The HubSpot connector’s “Keep Personal Information” toggle has clearer tooltip text.
Release Notes Widget
- A new in-Admin release notes widget is now live, so your team can see what’s new without leaving the platform.
