    The Admin Portal may be unavailable for ~30 minutes on April 6, 2026 at 1:00 AM GMT+1. WeChat mini-program unaffected.

    • Impact: The Admin Portal (app.vivacityapp.com) may be unavailable or experience slow response times for approximately 30 minutes during the patching process.

    • Mobile Access: This update will not impact the WeChat mini-program; it will remain fully functional.

    Excited Summer Updates

    New contact features, video uploads, improved navigation, enhanced data privacy and security, and instant promotions on the Mini Program.

    We’ve been hard at work to make your experience with Viva City even better this summer. This latest update brings several new features and improvements designed to help you connect with your community more effectively, with a special focus on data security and privacy.

    New Contact Features

    We’ve made improvements to how you manage your contacts, with CRM enhancements on your enquiries. You will be able to monitor multiple enquiries sent by a single contact using “OpenId” to identify they’re coming from the same WeChat account. The “Merge Contacts” feature is more intuitive, making it simpler to monitor all their enquiries in one convenient place. We also added an “Activities” page within Contacts and Enquiries, so you can easily see all your notifications with users, whether by SMS or email.

    Better Media Support

    • Uploading Videos: You can now upload video files to your media library, giving you more options for sharing rich, engaging content with your contacts.
    • Improved Image Placeholders: Image placeholders now look cleaner and more professional, providing a better visual experience when images are still loading.

    Improved Navigation and User Experience

    • Simplified Detail Page: The Detail Page now only shows the essential system ID, helping you find the information you need faster.
    • Easy Record-to-Record Navigation: A new way to move between different records on the Detail Page, letting you quickly jump from one record to the next without going back to the main list.

    Better Translations

    We’ve made key improvements to our translation feature, specifically for testimonials, ensuring they are translated more accurately and naturally.

    AI Chat History (Launching soon, only if you have AI chat enabled)

    You can now easily view the history of your chats with our AI assistant, helping you reference past discussions and ensuring you never lose a key piece of information.

    Enhanced Data Privacy and Security

    • Automatic Data Cleanup: We now automatically remove personal information from contacts after a specific time period to protect privacy.
    • Secure CSV Processing: When you forward a CSV file from WeChat to our system, it now automatically processes and removes personal information from existing enquiries.
    • Improved Data Encryption: A robust new encryption system to keep your customers’ contact information secure.
    • You’re in Control: Customers now have the ability to encrypt and decrypt their data.

    New Promotion Features

    • Instant Promotions on the Mini Program: You can now set up promotions that apply directly to the property details page on the Mini Program, allowing you to quickly launch promotions that users will see as they browse properties.

    Rednote Mini Program support, WeChat Mini Program enhancements (consultant profiles & testimonials), and WeChat Pay integration via Globepay.

    We’re thrilled to roll out significant updates designed to boost your marketing reach, build credibility, and simplify payments within our platform.

    Rednote (Xiaohongshu) Mini Program Support for Overseas Accounts

    We now support the creation and deployment of Rednote Mini Programs for Overseas Accounts. This allows you to present a rich, interactive portfolio of your properties/services directly within Rednote, bypassing sharing restrictions and capturing user interest where they discover content.

    • Getting Started: Please make sure you have a verified Pro business account with Rednote or contact your account manager.
    • Note: Only Mainland Chinese Android users or all iOS users will be able to access the Mini Program and it has limited function. Please contact your account manager to discuss further.

    WeChat Mini Program Enhancements

    We’ve added two highly requested features to the WeChat Mini Program:

    • Sales Consultant Profiles: You can now assign and display specific sales consultants for each building or project listed in your mini program, providing a direct point of contact for interested customers.
    • Customer Testimonials: Showcase positive feedback and build trust by adding a dedicated testimonials section to your mini program.

    WeChat Pay Integration

    • What’s New: You can now enable WeChat Pay within your WeChat Mini Program, offering a convenient payment option for your users.
    • Note: This integration is exclusively available through Globepay Limited as the payment service provider.
    • Setup: Please contact your account manager to initiate the setup process for WeChat Pay integration.

    FAQ Feature on Your Mini Program

    The introduction of an FAQ feature on the mini program significantly enhances user experience by providing immediate answers to common questions. This self-help tool allows users to find information quickly and efficiently, reducing the need for direct contact with support teams.

    Entrata Integration is Available

    The integration of Entrata streamlines the process of managing building information and synchronizing room availability and pricing. This automation ensures that data remains current and accurate. The forthcoming feature will enable synchronization of leads from the WeChat Mini Program to Entrata.

    Separate Email Template for Different Enquiry Types

    With this new feature, you can tailor your email responses to match the type of inquiry submitted by students, ensuring that each student receives the most relevant information. This level of personalization improves engagement and satisfaction.

    Ability to Reset MFA

    When users cannot retrieve their MFA credentials from an old device, the option to reset MFA via the Settings > Users page provides a practical solution, allowing users to regain access to their accounts with the assistance of a colleague.

    Strengthened Invite User Policies

    Limiting the ability to add new users is a prudent measure to safeguard sensitive information and maintain control over user access. Organization owners and admins can manage members, add or remove individuals, and assign permissions accordingly.
